Bobcats Acquire Ashton Clark from Melville


The Lloydminster Bobcats have acquired forward Ashton Clark from the Melville Millionaires (SJHL). Clark comes to the Bobcats as the player in return as well as future considerations (PDF) to complete a trade from September 4, 2013 where the Bobcats sent Cole Berreth to the Millionaires.
Clark, a 1996 born (18 yr old) power forward from Aberdeen, Saskatchewan, just completed his first season as a 17 year old with Melville recording 5 goals and 1 assist in 41 games along with 29 penalty minutes. Prior to joining Melville, Clark spent 2 seasons with the Midget AAA Battleford Stars. In 76 games, Clark scored 13 goals, 21 assists for 34 points as well as 251 penalty minutes.
