Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats have acquired Calgary born forward Aidan LaRose and future considerations from the Drumheller Dragons in exchange for Dalton MacGillivray. In 29 games this season with the Dragons the 6’2” forward has scored 6 goals and added 10 assists. Last season, LaRose was the Captain of the Calgary Flames U18AAA where he registered 26 points in 28 regular season games while adding 14 points in 11 games.
“We are very excited to add a player and person like Aidan, our staff watched him closely last year during the Flames run to the National Tournament. Aidan’s leadership abilities were very evident during the run and his ability to be a big-time player spoke in the points” stated Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube. The Calgary Flames U18AAA went on to win the Alberta Elite Hockey League and LaRose registered 2 goals and 3 assists in nationals at the Telus Cup. “We look forward to Aidan getting into our line up and being a part of the Lloydminster community, we know he will represent our organization with great pride both on and off the ice!” finished Dube.
