Bobcats Acquire Latrell Charleson from Battleford

The Lloydminster Bobcats have acquired 1995 born defencemen Latrell Charleson from the Battleford North Stars (SJHL) in exchange for defencemen Brock Weston (95) and future considerations.
Charleson a 6 foot 4, 230 pound right handed shooting defenceman from Surrey, British Columbia, plays a two way game with offensive upside who put up 5 goals, 22 assists for 27 points in 50 games along with 41 penalty minutes. In 9 playoff games with the Stars, he recorded 2 assist and 20 penalty minutes. Before joining the North Stars, Charleson spent 2 seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) playing 43 games with the Prince George Spruce Kings and 8 games with the Coquitlam Express. In 51 career BCHL games Charleson recorded 6 assists with 32 penalty minutes.
