Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats have acquired 20-year-old for Blake Setter from the Sherwood Park Crusaders! The Calgary native split last season between the Alberta Junior Hockey League and the British Columbia Hockey League.
Coming off last season Setter had 7 goals and 6 assists in 19 games in Coquitlam, while posting 6 goals and 17 assists in 38 games with the Calgary Canucks. “We are excited to add the size and power to our offensive group, Blake is a person who can make room for others and create offense when given the opportunity, he is a welcomed addition” stated Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube. Setter played last season with Caden Steinke who the Bobcats acquired in the off season for Rylan Ringor. “We look forward to not only the player we have added but the person, his leadership and experience in the league will be great for our group” added Dube.
