Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats have acquired Jamie Weller from the Okotoks Oilers. The defenseman is a veteran to the Alberta Junior Hockey League having played with the Oilers in all 107 games accumulating 3 goals and 22 assists while having 106 penalty minutes.
The defenseman will add experience to the Bobcats blueline, “we are excited to add Jamie to our D core, he will add experience to our group and leadership for our young guys. We look forward to him adding a dimension back there, he will also help our young guys to become better every day!” stated Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube.
The Lloydminster Bobcats play host to the Olds Grizzlys at 7:00PM this evening. The Lloydminster Bobcats have also released goaltender Noah Davis this morning.
