The Lloydminster Bobcats have announced the signing of defenceman Jacob Callas for the 2017-18 season.
Callas (Vancouver, BC) is a defenceman who spent the past season playing for the Kamloops Storm in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.
“We are very excited to add Jacob to our team this season,” said Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Travis Clayton. “We think he will be a strong addition to our back-end as we continue to build our defensive core.”
The 6’1”, 190lbs blue-liner posted one goal and 18 assists in 44 regular season games for the Storm last season, while also competing in 11 playoff games.
“I am extremely excited to be joining the Lloydminster Bobcats,” Callas said. “I’m ready to do whatever it takes to help our organization have a successful season.”
