Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats will scrimmage with the Lakeland Rustlers Female Hockey Team on Monday afternoon at the Civic Centre at 1:35PM! The two teams will mix rosters and play 4 on 4 hockey with celebrity officials in the mid-day contest as students in Lloydminster school divisions do not have school on Monday with the teachers strike. It will be an opportunity for fans to see an entertaining game of with the two teams coming together!
The idea for the game was led by the players and Captain Caden Cabana who is from the Lakeland area and a local to the Bobcats, “It speaks to how much our players care about the community and growing the game of hockey, their idea to join up with the Female Rustlers and bring the hockey world together in our community for the youth to watch, speaks to the character we have in our players!” states Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube.
The game will be open to the public and the concession will be open. Autographs following the game will be available from both teams at the west end of the arena!
