Today the Bobcats are in Drayton Valley where they take on the Thunder in game two of a three-game weekend road trip.
In 2016-17 the Bobcats and Thunder have split their season series with two wins apiece. Last weekend the teams met twice at the Centennial Civic Centre where each team was able to come away with two points. The Thunder won Friday's game 6-3 while the Bobcats took Saturday's contest 4-2.
New Bobcats forward Rob Johnson, who was acquired by Lloydminster at the trade deadline, picked up two points in the win, including an assist on the eventual winner at the 19:25 mark of the third period. Since then Johnson has been able to tally a point in every game with the black and orange (3GP,1G,3A,4PTS).
