The Lloydminster Bobcats made a key addition to their Business Operations staff today, announcing the hiring of Stephen Kaczmar as their Marketing Coordinator.
Stephen was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where he graduated with a marketing diploma and a broadcasting diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Stephen is familiar with the Lloydminster market having interned as a news and sports reporter for Newcap TV in the fall of 2012. “I’m excited to be back in Lloydminster and being part of the community, I can’t wait to showcase my passion and creativity for sports marketing and to continue improve the overall experience for Bobcats fans,” newly hired Marketing Coordinator, Stephen Kaczmar says.
His other experiences include covering the 2012 UEFA Euro Cup in Ukraine & Poland for 101.7 World FM Edmonton, and reporting on the 2012 IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championships for Hockey Canada to name a few. He has been a freelance writer with multiple online sports blogs including The Bleacher Report and The Hockey Writers.
Stephen will be working closely with Malcolm Radke, the team’s Business Manager and Michelle Pollock, the team’s office administrator to build on the Bobcats marketing effort and improve the overall Bobcats experience for the community. In this new role Stephen will handle the fan experience and communication with the public. His day to day tasks will include game day marketing planning and content creation.
