Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are thrilled to announce the signing of 2004 born defenseman Orin Olson! Olson, a native of Chaplin, Saskatchewan played last season for the Moose Jaw Warriors U18 AAA where he registered 8 goals and 20 assists in 44 games. He also suited up for the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League as an affiliate player for 9 playoff games.
The 5’11″ – 185-pound blue liner will bring offensive skill to the defensive core while continuing his strong defensive play, “Orin is a player we have been after all season, he is a very mature player and person and someone who is going to have an immediate impact on our roster. We are looking to add more offense through our d core this season and we believe this is one of the pieces that will help” stated Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.
