Lloydminster, AB ? The Lloydminster Bobcats are continuing to build on the foundation laid out over the past season with the exciting announcement of signing the top goal scorer from the Alberta AAA Midget Hockey League in Ethan AuCoin.
AuCoin played last season for the Calgary Northstars where he tallied 27 goals and 12 assists in 32 games while having 34 penalty minutes. AuCoin has become a familiar name in Cats Country as Ethan?s cousin Cameron played in all 58 regular season games this past season.
?Ethan has the ability to score goals and it was made evident throughout his season; he found ways to score big goals against the toughest of competition as evidenced in our time recruiting him. There is no secret we are looking to add to our offensive ability after being in so many one goal games last year. Signing a player of Ethan?s ability will put us in a better position!? stated Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.
