Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are excited to announce the signing of forward Jack Ferguson for the 2024-25 season! Ferguson, a product of Edmonton, Alberta played last season with the Delta Hockey Academy U18 Prep.
The five-foot-eleven inch right-handed forward scored 14 goals and added 8 assists for 22 points in 30 games last season, he also posted 4 goals and 3 assists in 9 affiliate games in the PIJHL. He will be a welcomed addition to the offensive forward group for next season. “Jack is a player that we identified early in the year. Jack is a player who plays a 200-foot game that really excels at consistently doing the little things right. He can kill penalties, be responsible in his own end, and contribute offensively” described Bobcats Player of Personnel Andrew Gilbert. When it comes to Ferguson off the ice, all signs point towards a quality individual, “Jack’s coach spoke very highly of his character on and off the ice and that was obvious with our conversations with him throughout the season. We are excited to have Jack in Lloydminster this season!” added Gilbert.
