Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are thrilled to announce defenseman Carter Frankiw has signed a Letter of Intent for the 2022-23 season! A native of Sherwood Park, Frankiw played the 2021-22 season with the Sherwood Park Kings U18AAA where he registered 6 goals and 14 assists in 32 games on the blueline.
Frankiw affiliated with the Bobcats and saw action in two AJHL regular season games this year with the black and orange. “Carter is a defenseman with a ton of upside, fans were able to get a glimpse at his future this year when he played for us at the Civic” stated Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube. “He has an elite level shot and will add to our offense from the back end, he plays with a lot of compete in his game and is tough to play against on the defensive side of the puck” added Dube.
