Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats have made a pair of transactions ahead of the January 10thtrade deadline. The first transaction sending 20-year-old goalie Sebastian Resar to the Rockland Nationals of the CCHL. Resar suited up in twelve games with the Bobcats after being acquired from the Renfrew Wolves in the CCHL.
“We would like to thank Sebastian for his time in Lloydminster and wish him all the best in Rockland” said Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube.
In the second transaction, the Lloydminster Bobcats have signed 2006 born local Haden Heide from the U18AAA Lloydminster Lancers for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. In 14 starts this season with the Lancers, Heide has 3.93 goals against average and a .900 save percentage. Heide has been an affiliate of the Bobcats for the last two seasons and a part of both the Bobcats organization and development partnership with Lloydminster Elite Hockey Division.
“We are excited to add Haden to our organization on a full-time basis. He knows what the standard is on and off the ice and what it means to be a Bobcat, which is very important. He had a great experience with our team last year in the playoffs and he has been able to practice with us regularly. We are excited about his future with us” added Dube.
The Lloydminster Bobcats organization would like to welcome Haden and the Heide family to the organization, as well thank the U18AAA Lloydminster Lancers for their support of the signing.
