The Lloydminster Bobcats have traded 20 year old Forward Lukas Biensch to the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) in exchange for 1996 born Forward Taylor Lotoski and future considerations.
Biensch, in his second full season with the Bobcats, is having a breakout year with 7 goals, 24 assists for 31 points through 41 games, which has him tied for the team lead in points. A Marsden, Saskatchewan native, Biensch as an 18 year old appeared in 5 games with the Bobcats, recording 2 goals. As a 19 year old, playing full time, he suited up in 59 games, putting up 7 goals and 14 assists for 21 points. In 105 career games with the Bobcats, Biensch put together 16 goals, 38 assists, and 54 points along with 55 penalty minutes.
In return the Bobcats receive a 6 foot 2, 205 pound Forward in Taylor Lotoski. Originally from St. Albert, Alberta, Lotoski (1996) is in his first season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Through 29 games played, the 18 year old has recorded 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points. Prior to joining the Saints, Lotoski played for the Midget AAA St. Albert Sports Raiders, where he had 10 goals and 18 points through 34 games played. Welcome to the Bobcats Organization Taylor!
