Captain Springer Partakes In Good Cause

Thursday afternoon E.S. Laird Middle School invited Captain Linden Springer to partake in the campaign 'Adopt A Village' through the International Charity and Education Partner 'Free The Children'.

E.S. Laird as well as Bishop Lloyd Middle School have partnered up to help build a school for a village in Ecuador. The campaign is to eliminate the obstacles preventing children from accessing education and to break the cycle of poverty. Students paid $2 dollars for a meter of duct tape in which they used in effort to try and tape the Captain Spinger, as well as a student and two teachers to the schools gymnasium wall. Springer is a former student at Bishop Lloyd Middle School and was involved in a similar campaign being duct taped to a wall while he was Grade 9 student.

Congratulations to everyone for their donations and efforts for this great cause!
