Cliff Rose for Clothes is one of the longest standing sponsors of Jr A hockey in Lloydminster. Each and every month Dave Schneider (owner and operator) of Cliff Rose supports the Bobcats players by rewarding one player with a new suit. The player of the month is not given to the player with the best on-ice performance. Rather it is given to the player who best exemplifies what it is to be a Bobcat – the four pillars: Community, Family, Integrity, and Discipline.
For the month of October Matthew Swanson has been selected as the Bobcat of the month. Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager commented with “Swanny is a player who would do anything for his teammates and community and do so without ever asking for recognition. He always has a smile on around the players and when he is out in the community, he cares about his teammates & he cares about our community. Coming up through the Elite system in Lloydminster and a local to us he’s been a part of the city for a few years now he’s always given back to the community and done everything as far as being a first class teammate and a great citizen in our community.”
Through the month of October Matthew and his teammates have been involved in a number of community initiatives, helping out with both the public and catholic school divisions in school and helping keep kids safe working the cross walks in the mornings. Also he and his teammates put together care packages for the Pioneer Lodge and delivered them just prior to Halloween.
In addition to being an incredible teammate and community leader for the Bobcats, Swanson has put together 15 points in 17 games to start the season.
You can find Dave and his team at Cliff Rose for Clothes on 50th ave just South of 50th street. Whether you need formal or casual wear, gifts for that special someone or suit/tuxedo rentals for extra special occasions Cliff Rose for Clothes is the premiere destination in Lloydminster area.
The Lloydminster Bobcats would like to thank the family at Cliff Rose for Clothes for their continued support.
