It is hard to believe the 60 game, 2016-17 AJHL regular season is about to come to an end this weekend for the Lloydminster Bobcats.
With six wins in February the Cats find themselves very much apart of the late season playoff race, currently just one point back of Drayton Valley for the last spot in the Viterra North Division playoff standings.
On Wednesday evening at the Centennial Civic Centre the Whitecourt Wolverines come to town where the Bobcats will be looking to upset the 2nd place team for the first time all season. So far Whitecourt has won all five games against the Cats in 2016-17, with the most recent loss coming last Monday in Whitecourt.
Saturday evening Spruce Grove comes to town for FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT. Admission to the game will be free with tons of great prizes to be won throughout the night.
The Bobcats would like to thank Garrison Oilwell Services for guaranteeing a $1000 50/50 prize that will be drawn in the third period.
