Bobcats Acquire Goaltender Graham

Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are excited to announce the acquisition of 20-year-old-goaltender Connor Graham from the Niverville Night Hawks.

Graham is joining the Bobcats after splitting time with the Winnipeg Blues (15GP – 3.43GAA – .909SV%) and Niverville Nighthawks (4GP – 4.00GAA – .863SV%) while starting 21 games last season with the North Iowa Bulls in the North American Hockey League. “With the additions made early in the week with Ishan Mittoo and Kai Billey, we wanted to make sure we had junior experience in our net. Kirkwood (24GP – 2.65GAA – .921SV%) has been outstanding for us and we look forward to him continuing it, but we put a lot on him once Anders Miller joined the Calgary Hitmen (WHL)” stated Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube. With the Bobcats netminding tandem now being two – twenty-year-old goaltenders, experience is there. “It’s unique but we were looking for depth in all areas of our group, we believe we have found that and are excited about our group moving forward” added Dube.

The Lloydminster Bobcats are back in action this Saturday at 7:00PM against the Canmore Eagles and Sunday afternoon at 2:30PM against the Drayton Valley Thunder. Specials on tickets and concessions all weekend as well as skate with the Bobcats following the game on Sunday. (Bring your skates and helmets!)
