Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are proud to announce Ishan Mittoo has committed to play for Ontario Tech – USport next season!
Mittoo has played 137 games with the Lloydminster Bobcats of the Alberta Junior Hockey League registering 26 goals and 38 assists over the course of the 3 seasons. “We are very excited for Ishan, in chatting with Coach Curtis at Ontario Tech it was very evident it would be a perfect fit for both Ishan and Tech” commented Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube. “From recruiting Ishan in 2022 when he won a Telus Cup, to his development on and off the ice over 3 seasons in the Border City, to working to find him a place to continue his hockey and education is what we strive for in our program” added Dube.
Mittoo is excited about is commitment, “I’m really excited to spend my next 4 years at Ontario Tech University. I’ve heard nothing but great things and believe it will be the best place for me to continue my hockey and academic aspirations. Can’t wait to get started.”
