After spending a couple days on Vancouver's East Hastings Street learning about the dangers of drugs and crime, four members of the Lloydminster Bobcats, along with local RCMP, have been sharing their message throughout Lloydminster and the surrounding communities.
Noah Bauld, Cole Josefchak, Evan Tschumi, and Troy Van Tetering all went on the trip to Vancouver in September, where they were escorted by a local organization called Odd Squad Productions through one of Canada's most infamous neighbourhoods. Since returning, they've been presenting to local schools to share their experiences with the youth in our communities. This week, the group also attended a Lloydminster Rotary Club luncheon to present their message to one of the organizations that helped to fund the trip.
Along with the Rotary Club, Project Keep Straight received generous donations from Devon Canada and Fountain Tire to cover expenses.
