Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are ecstatic to announce Sheldon Goertzen has been named to the Canadian Women’s U18 Coaching Staff! Goertzen continues to show his expertise at the national level after also being a part of the 2023-24 Canada National Women’s Team.
Goertzen will be entering his 6th season with the Lloydminster Bobcats this fall as he represents the organization at the national level, “We are extremely lucky and grateful to have a coach and person the caliber of Sheldon Goertzen. There is no doubt he makes our organization, staff, and players better. We are proud of what he has also been able to do with Team Canada!” stated Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube. Goertzen’s track record of goalies speaks for itself, “not only the Bobcats organization, but also the border city, minor and elite hockey, we are all fortunate to have a coach of his talent” added Dube.
