Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats have acquired forward Kai Billey from the Devon Xtreme in exchange for forward Karter Radtke ahead of the Alberta Junior Hockey League trade deadline.
The veteran forward from St. Albert, Alberta comes to the Bobcats having played in 110 junior games scoring 29 goals and adding 29 assists. “We are excited to add Kai to our offensive group, with the addition of Ishan on Monday it adds veteran depth to our group” said Bobcats General Manager Nigel Dube.
In return the Bobcats are sending forward Radtke to the Xtreme, “We would like to thank Karter, he is a great young man who will be getting the opportunity to be closer to home and on the ice. He represented our program very well both on and off the ice, we wish him all the success in the future” added Dube.
The Lloydminster Bobcats play two games at home this weekend as they host the Canmore Eagles on Saturday (7:00PM – Civic Centre) and Drayton Valley Thunder on Sunday (2:30PM – Civic Centre).
