Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are excited to announce the signing of 2009-born forward Thayne Wasyluk for the 2026–27 season!
The Sherwood Park, Alberta product joins the Bobcats from the Northern Alberta Xtreme U18 Prep program (CSSHL), where he has recorded 9 goals and 11 assists in 19 games this season.
Assistant General Manager Andrew Gilbert:
“Thayne comes from a top-end program at NAX. We’ve had many opportunities to watch him throughout the season and really took notice of his game at the Circle K Classic. Against strong competition, he elevated his game as the level got tougher.
He brings a great combination of size and skill to our lineup. Thayne plays a responsible defensive game and has the ability to create offence by taking pucks into traffic and getting to the net. In Lloydminster, we pride ourselves on hard work and character — and Thayne checks those boxes. He’ll be a fun player for Bobcat fans to watch next season.
