Bobcats Sign Henderson for 2021-22

Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are excited to announce the signing of 2003 born defenseman Nolan Henderson of the Calgary Flames U18 AAA for the 2021-22 season. Henderson, a native of Calgary, AB posted 2 assists in 5 games this season with the Flames. During the 2019-20 season Henderson posts 3 goals and 12 assists to go along with 63 penalty minutes in 21 games.

The six-foot-three, one-hundred-and-ninety-pound defenseman is known for his size and skating ability, while being dominant at defending he is able to transition pucks and jump up in the offense where he will add to the Bobcats defensive group for next season. Bobcats Head Coach & GM Nigel Dube commented on Henderson “He is a very similar defenseman to our Captain Gunner Kinniburgh in how he plays the game. He moves really well for a big guy and is very effective in defending with his stick and angles. We look forward to Nolan being in a Bobcats jersey and developing his game in the Border City. We are very excited that Nolan chose to play for us, he has a very bright future on and off the ice!” The Henderson family is familiar with the Border City as Nolan’s father Don played in Lloydminster during his junior days.
