Lloydminster, AB ? The Lloydminster Bobcats organization is excited to announce the signing of defenseman Dalton Irvine from the Revelstoke Grizzlies. The Marwayne, AB product has spent the last two seasons in the KIJHL where he recorded 5 goals and 27 assists in 43 games while patrolling the blueline. During the 2019-20 season he also suited up in 4 games for the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL. ?We are excited for what Dalton can bring to our backend this season. He has an offensive mind set from the blue and sees the ice well in advancing zones so will create more offense as a whole. He has followed a different path, playing junior in the KIJHL the last two seasons with a very successful Revelstoke program. He knows the day to day of junior hockey adding to why we went after Dalton to get him in a Bobcats jersey this season!? commented Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.

In other news the Bobcats have moved goaltender Josh Dias to the Merritt Centennials, Dias was acquired from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons early in the 2019-20 season. The Bobcats would like to thank Josh for his season in the Border City and wish him all the best in Merritt.
