Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are excited to announce the signing of Dalton MacGillivray for the 2023-24 season! The 2004 born forward put up 8 goals and 7 assist last season in 44 games to go along with 35 penalty minutes with the Chilliwack Chiefs in the British Columbia Hockey League. In 14 playoff games with the Chiefs, he scored 4 times and had 5 points.
“We are extremely excited to add Dalton to our forward group this season. Dalton is a player I coached last season and with his competitiveness, skill set, and commitment to bettering his all-around game it will be a seamless transition for him” stated Bobcats Head Coach Brad Rihela. “Dalton is a player that brings maximum effort every day, which is exactly what we are looking for in our players” added Rihela.
In the 2021-22 season MacGillivray posted 30 goals and 40 assists in 36 games with the Delta Ice Hawks of the PIJHL to go along with 136 penalty minutes, he also saw action that season with the Chilliwack Chiefs scoring twice in six games.
