BOBCATS ANNOUNCE ENHANCED GAME DAY EXPERIENCE FOR 2026-27
Lloydminster, AB – After completing our first season in the new Cenovus Energy Hub, the Lloydminster Bobcats are excited to introduce a number of changes aimed at making the fan experience even better for the 2026-27 season.
Our first year in the Hub was about learning, evolving and finding ways to improve. We listened to feedback from our fans, reviewed our game day operations and continued working alongside the City of Lloydminster to identify areas where we can make the experience more efficient and enjoyable.
Changes have already begun, with even more improvements coming ahead of our September 18 home opener against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons!
So, what’s changing?
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES
Main Concession
Two Dedicated Service Windows
Fans will now have two options depending on what they’re looking for. The main concession will feature a “Hot Food Orders” window and a separate “Snacks & Drinks” window. New signage will help improve traffic flow and get fans to the right window faster.
Simplified Menu + Featured Specials
The main concession menu has been streamlined to improve service times. Don’t worry — that doesn’t mean fewer options throughout the season! Fans can expect a variety of rotating featured specials and new food options on game nights.
Condiments for hot food items will also be relocated to the area immediately west of the main concession.
NEW Concourse Kiosk
A new kiosk will be located on the north side of the main concourse, serving Mini Melts, popcorn and water.
Expanded Lobby Canteen
The former “Grab n Go” location in the lobby will become a full canteen service window, featuring candy, snacks, drinks and specialty coffees. On weekends, fans can also expect featured sandwiches, wraps and healthier options.
Enhanced Suite Menu
Suite holders and suite rentals will have access to newly featured rotating menu options, bringing an elevated food experience to the suite level.
Easier-to-See Menus
Pop-up menus will be placed throughout the concourse so fans can check out their options before reaching the concession.
ALCOHOL SERVICES
Main Bar Improvements
The main bar now features fountain pop, allowing cocktail drinks to be made complete at the time of purchase.
NEW North Concourse Bar
A new full-service bar will be located on the north side of the main concourse and will feature our full beverage menu.
NEW Suite-Level Bar
Suite guests will also have access to a new full-service suite-level bar, creating a more convenient experience without having to leave the level.
Easier-to-See Menus
Pop-up beverage menus will also be located near bar areas so fans can see their options before ordering.
TICKETING
Improved Ticket Entry
Ticket scanning and collection will move closer to the stairs, with entry points available at the top of both staircases as well as the elevator.
Season Ticket Options
Season ticket holders will receive their tickets prior to the home opener. Fans will have multiple options, including season pass cards, digital wallet tickets and hard-copy tickets.
Season pass cards must be presented upon entry and will be punched for each game attended.
Suite-Level Access
Suite ticket holders will now receive a wristband when entering the suite level via the elevator. Only guests with a valid suite ticket and wristband will be permitted on the suite level.
MERCHANDISE
You Won’t Be Able to Miss It!
Upon entering the Cenovus Energy Hub, fans will immediately see the Bobcats merchandise area directly inside the main doors, complete with new standout signage.
Whether you need a jersey, hat or some new Bobcats swag, you’ll know exactly where to find it!
GAME DAY ALERTS & SPECIALS
New free-standing display screens will be located throughout the concourse, keeping fans connected to everything happening on game day.
From food and beverage specials to upcoming games, promotions, player features and important announcements, the information you need will be right in front of you.
IN-GAME EXPERIENCE
NEW Full-Time In-Game Host
We’re excited to introduce a full-time in-game host this season!
Fans can expect more interaction throughout the night, including media timeout activities, intermission games, promotions, announcements and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
More Player Autograph Sessions
Fans will have more opportunities to meet their favourite Bobcats, with player autograph sessions following select games throughout the season on the main concourse.
Jumbotron – See it!
Enjoy the dedicated features of the jumbotron from the very first game! New features, replays, and much more from the very start!
Giveaways, Giveaways, Giveaways!
There will be plenty of chances to win throughout the season.
As they say — you can’t win if you’re not at the game!
THE EXPERIENCE KEEPS EVOLVING
These changes will continue to be implemented as we approach our September 18 home opener against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. As equipment, signage and supplies arrive, our team will continue working diligently to have as many of these new fan experiences in place as possible.
Our first season in the Cenovus Energy Hub taught us a lot. We appreciate everyone who took the time to provide feedback, and we will continue listening, learning and finding ways to make Bobcats game nights better.
Most importantly, we ask everyone entering the Cenovus Energy Hub to show respect and kindness toward our staff, volunteers and fellow fans.
