The 2016-17 Bobcats Main Camp concluded Sunday evening with the annual Orange VS Black Game at the Centennial Civic Centre.
Close to 70 players were in camp, which began Friday at 7:00 p.m. with the first of 9 weekend scrimmages. Rosters were cut almost in half for Sunday evening when the top 40 players were invited to the intrasquad game.
Team Orange got off to a commanding first period lead, eventually taking the game by a score of 7-3.
A second round of roster cuts took place after the game. Remaining players will get a chance to show Head Coach and GM Travis Clayton and the rest of the coaching staff what they can bring to this year's Bobcats squad when the team plays its first exhibition game Wednesday in Bonnyville. The Pontiacs enter the den Friday, September 2, when the Bobcats takecc to home ice for the first time in the 2016-17 season.
