After splitting a weekend set against the visiting Canmore Eagles and Calgary Canucks, the Lloydminster Bobcats now shift their focus ahead to what is shaping up to be a very busy week.
Tuesday: Bobcats @ Drayton Valley Thunder
It's a massive game for both teams as the Thunder currently have a five-point lead on the Bobcats for the final playoff spot in the Viterra AJHL North Division, although Lloydminster currently holds two games in hand. The last meeting between these two teams was a 3-2 overtime victory for the Bobcats at the Civic Centre on October 26th. You can hear the call live on Real Country 95.9 beginning with a special overtime edition of the Tuesday Night Sports Show at 7:00, and puck drop at 7:30.
Wednesday: Bobcats @ Sherwood Park Crusaders
The Cru have had the Cats number this season, winning two games played by a combined score of 10-4. Lloydminster will look to get revenge on their North Division rival in the first meeting of the year at the Sherwood Park Arena. The last time the two teams met was a neutral site game in Fort Saskatchewan on November 6th. It's been a strong month of November for the Crusaders, who have yet to lose in regulation since the turn of the calendar. A record of 6-0-1 in seven November games makes this one of the hottest teams in the AJHL. Puck drops at 7:00 in Sherwood Park, and pre-game will be live on Real Country 95.9 beginning at 6:45.

Every toy will be donated to The Gift of Christmas, a local group that accepts donations from the community to provide gifts for boys and girls this holiday season. Puck drops on the contest at 7:30PM.
