TRADE: Bobcats Acquire Johnson from Wolverines

Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Travis Clayton is happy to announce that the team has acquired Air Force commit Robert Johnson ('98) from the Whitecourt Wolverines in exchange for future considerations.

Johnson is a 5'11'', 190 pound forward from Kamloops, BC. In 12 games with the Wolverines this season, Johnson has recorded three goals and an assist for four points. Before making his AJHL debut in 2016-17 with the Wolverines, Johnson played in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) as a member of the Surrey Eagles. While with the Eagles, Johnson had 10 points in 23 games this season, and six points in 31 games in 2015-16. Johnson spent the 2014-15 season as a rookie with the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL, producing 11 points in 30 games played.

The Bobcats would like to welcome Johnson and his family to the city of Lloydminster.
