Lloydminster, AB ? The Lloydminster Bobcats have acquired Nathan Carl from the Swan Valley Stampeders in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. In acquiring Carl from the Stampeders the Bobcats have traded defenseman Ryan Nause and forward Alex Danis the other way. Carl, who is from Sherwood Park, Alberta had 23 goals and 23 assists last season in 60 regular season games while putting up 5 points in 3 playoff games with the Stampeders. ?We are excited to add a quality player and person in Nathan to our group. Nathan spent his 18-year-old season in Fort McMurray so he is familiar with our league and players on our current roster. His offensive ability will have an immediate impact with the core group we have built in the Border City!? said Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.
