The Lloydminster Bobcats will begin their 2017-18 Regular Season on Friday, September 15th, the same day that NHL 18 will be released.
Thanks to 1-Up Gaming, Bobcats fans will have the chance to be one of the first to play the newest addition of the NHL video game franchise at the Civic Centre prior to puck drop on September 15th.
The Bobcats and 1-Up Gaming are teaming up to host an NHL 18 tournament as a part of the pre-game festivities.
The tournament, which will take place between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, will feature 16 contestants competing on the PS4, and 16 more competing on Xbox One.
To enter the tournament simply comment on the Facebook or Twitter post and 32 contestants will be randomly selected and notified by Wednesday, September 13th.
There is no entry fee to enter or participate.
