Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats organization is excited to announce the signing of Chase Visser of Barrhead, AB for the 2021-22 season. The 2003 born forward had appeared in 6 games this season prior to the AEHL pause with the St. Albert Raiders where he recorded 3 goals and 4 assists. Visser has spent his elite level hockey within the St. Albert system as he has recorded 8 goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 39 games in U18, while amassing 26 goals and 14 assists through 34 games in U16.
“Chase is a very high character person who will fit into the culture we have built in Lloydminster and will be a welcomed addition to our group. He is an elite level hockey player who is strong in his defensive zone and will bring an offensive touch to our forward group” stated Bobcats Assistant Coach Brady Bakke. “Chase has been someone we have liked for a very long time, the more our staff got to know Chase and everyone we talked to in the hockey world it was very apparent we wanted him to be a Bobcat!” added Bakke.
The Bobcats organization would like to welcome Chase and the entire Visser family to the Border City! As the AJHL season continues to be on pause the Bobcats staff continue to build the recruiting class for the 2021-22 season. “We are very excited as an organization to have a player like Chase coming our way, he will have an immediate impact on our line up next season and his character will continue to grow the culture we have established here” commented Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.
