The Lloydminster Bobcats have traded ’95 forward Marco Ballarin to the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

The move finishes the future considerations owed to the Ice Wolves from a December 1, 2014 trade that saw Michael Cardinal and future considerations go to La Ronge in exchange for Allan MacPherson.

Ballarin was added to the Bobcats in the offseason as a future consideration stemming from the December 1st, 2014 trade of Tyler Kunz to the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League. In 25 games with the Bobcats this year, Ballarin has scored four goals and eleven assists for 15 points. Before coming to the ‘Cats, the product of New Westminster, BC recorded 20 points in 67 games played with the Spruce Kings.

The Bobcats organization would like to thank Marco Ballarin and his family for all their contributions to the team this year, and wish him all the best in the future.
