When training camp opens on August 26th, there will be a few new players looking to make their mark on Lloydminster Junior A Hockey.
Zach Webb is just one of the new recruits Bobcats fans will want to pay attention to. The 18 year-old officially committed to the Cats this past June, and was highly coveted in Canadian Junior A hockey after finishing second amongst all Alberta AAA Midget hockey players in points.
Webb picked up 39 assists – 1st in the Alberta Midget Hockey League – while captaining the Maple Leaf Athletic Club.
Despite his age, Webb is a player who will come into training camp with a high level hockey IQ and (as you will see) has the will and determination to compete at a high level.
Earlier this year Global Edmonton did a story on the 5'10 160 LB forward.
