Schendel Commits to Concordia

Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats organization is excited to announce twenty-year-old forward Tyler Schendel has committed to the Concordia University of Edmonton.   Schendel will join the Thunder in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference and the commitment is for the 2021-22 season.

The Wildwood, AB native was acquired during the 2019 off season and immediately joined the Bobcats leadership group. After recovering from a season ending injury in his first season as a Bobcat he went on to have 2 goals and 3 assists in 9 games this season. Over the course of his career in the Alberta Junior Hockey League he suited up in 119 games and had 16 goals and 26 assists.

The Bobcats organization would like to congratulate Tyler and the entire Schendel family on his commitment for next season! Schendel becomes the second Bobcat this season to secure a post-secondary commitment.
