This week, we look back at our discussion with former Bobcats defenceman Josh Atkinson.
We talked to Josh back on January 15th, as he was just entering the back half of his senior season with the University of Alaska Nanooks.
Atkinson finished his senior season with 16 points in 36 games, the highest point total since his freshman year, and punctuated the end of his college career by signing a professional contract with the Atlanta Gladiators of the East Coast Hockey League. After the season in Alaska came to an end, Atkinson skated in five games with the Gladiators, earning two assists, and will be looking to earn a full-time spot next season.
