Bobcats 2016-17 Team Awards

The Bobcats held their annual awards banquet on Sunday afternoon with the help of Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse.

Billets, parents and players were all on hand to celebrate the accomplishments of the players who showed exemplary performance in in a number of categories.

Goaltender Austin McGrath and forward Scott Ivey won multiple awards as voted on by the coaching staff of the Bobcats. McGrath took home team MVP, Rookie of the Year and Academic Athlete of the Year.

Most Dedicated Player – Connor Odelein
Coaches' Award – Scott Ivey
Top Defenceman – Daniel Hilsendager
Most Valuable Player – Austin McGrath
Top Scorer – With two games left the top contenders for this award are 1) Kobe Walker 16 goals, 22 assists , 38ptsĀ  2) Zach Webb 16 goals, 19 assists, 35pts 3) Zach Kaiser 16 goals, 18 assists, 34pts 4) Brady Barclay 13 goals, 18 assists, 31pts

The Bobcats would like to thank everyone who attended the banquet as well as Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse.

Only two chances left to see the Bobcats at home. Wednesday the team takes on Whitecourt and Saturday its Spruce Grove coming to town.
