Bobcats Sign Peppler

Lloydminster, AB ? The Lloydminster Bobcats organization is excited to announce the signing of Josh Peppler from Langenburg, Saskatchewan. The 2002 born forward played last season for the Prince Albert Mintos in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League where he scored 12 times and added 18 assists on the season while having 36 penalty minutes. Peppler also took part in the Macs Tournament held during the holiday season in Calgary.  This is an annual event teams in North America must qualify for; in four games during the Macs, Peppler scored four times.

?Josh is going to add speed to our line up, he has a really quick pop when he gets going which challenges defenders but lets him get to pucks first. When he is working the corners, he is a slippery little forward who makes it difficult to defend; other players are going to be rewarded with scoring opportunities off his work in those dirty areas? explained Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.

The Bobcats organization would like to welcome the Peppler family to the Border City!
