The Bobcats are excited to be teaming up with the Lloydminster Kinsmen Club to bring you Chase The Ace!
Proceeds will be helping the Bobcats with some projects we have been working on that include arena upgrades and also help in the operating costs of the team. By teaming up with the Kinsmen Club the Bobcats have more flexibility when it comes to growing the Ace Pot into a substantial prize for whoever wins it!
Chase The Ace is a form of lottery that has gained popularity since 2013 in parts of Canada as a way to raise funds for charities. Basically by buying a $10 ticket you have the chance to win the draw prize which is determined by how many tickets are sold that night. From the total ticket sales that night, 20% goes directly to the person who's name was drawn, 30% of the nightly ticket sales goes into the 'Ace Pot' and then the remaining 50% goes to the organization, in this case the Bobcats and the Kinsmen Club.
The Bobcats have offered up a guaranteed $5000 jackpot! Which means that if at any time the Ace is pulled from the deck, that person will win $5000 until the point comes that the pot surpasses the $5000 mark. For just $10 you could walk away with $5000!
Tickets will be on sale at every Bobcats home game and a draw will take place right after the second intermission of each game. You must be in attendance to win as you will need to pull the card from the deck.
The next chance to play is this Saturday as the Bobcats play the Drayton Valley Thunder at 7:30 at the Civic Centre.
