Darrar & Biensch raise $1,600 for Health Foundation

PRESS RELEASE
May 14, 2015, Lloydminster AB/SK – The Lloydminster Region Health Foundation (LRHF), Lloydminster Jr. A Bobcats and Acklands-Grainger are proud to announce that the Acklands-Grainger Point Man Program raised $1,600 this past season for healthcare in Lloydminster.
With every point scored by our point men Lukas Biensch and Kevin Darrar $25 was donated to LRHF by Acklands-Grainer; with play-off points earning $50 per point. Now in its fifth year, the Acklands Grainger Point Man Program has raised over $5,000 to support local healthcare.
Proceeds from the Acklands-Grainger Bobcat’s Point Man will be directed toward priority projects at Lloydminster Hospital. LRHF CEO Wendy Plandowski and the Health Foundation team are “very excited to work with Acklands-Grainger and the Lloydminster Bobcats again this year. Every dollar, and every point scored, makes a difference, and this program will bring us one step closer to reaching our goals for enhancements to healthcare in our community”.
