RECAP: Bobcats Find No Shelter From Storm in 5-1 Loss

The Lloydminster Bobcats found themselves on the wrong end of a lopsided score tonight as the Grande Prairie Storm took a 5-1 victory at Revolution Place.

Zach Webb scored his tenth of the season to break Storm goaltender Arik Weersink's shutout bid early in the third, and Austin McGrath stood tall with 41 saves against a barrage of shots, but the Cats couldn't find an answer to the home team tonight.

Dolan Bjornson scored the lone goal of a fairly evenly played first period, before starting the second period with his second of the night before assisting on a marker from Dallas Comeau to make it 3-0 early in the middle frame.

The Storm scored once again late in the second courtesy of leading scorer Michael Clarke, who polished off the victory with his second of the game in the third period to make it 5-1.

Lloydminster found themselves on the power play seven times and failed to convert, while the Storm weren't able to generate a goal on three man advantage situations.

The Bobcats will now travel to Drayton Valley for an important contest against the Thunder tomorrow night at 7:30. Catch pre-game on Real Country 95.9 beginning at 7:15.
