The 2016-17 season is behind us now, a year where the Bobcats returned just one player from the RBC Cup run, and the team grew into a unit that the whole community could be proud of.
Although the team fell just shy of the postseason, the Cats played meaningful hockey right down to the wire, and have now set the table for a strong group in the upcoming year.
Additionally, the organization is extremely proud of the recent commitments announced by Lloydminster natives Austin McGrath and Daniel Hilsendager to attend school and play hockey at the NCAA Division I level. Regardless of the outcome on the ice, junior hockey is about developing young men and providing them with opportunities, and that’s exactly what the team has been able to do.
The organization has been blown away by the support of our fans as we underwent an almost complete overhaul on and off the ice ahead of last season. Despite a trying season, our attendance averaged 957 spectators per game, keeping the Bobcats amongst the upper echelon in terms of fan support in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Our team simply cannot operate without your support.
With 22 players eligible to return to the team this season, the future is looking bright.

SEASON TICKET TIMELINE
Friday, April 28th: Renewal deadline for existing season ticket holders
May 1st-5th: “Relocation Week” – season ticket holders can move seats during this week by contacting our office at 780-871-0900 or in person at 4419 52nd Avenue.
May 8th: All available season ticket packages released to the public
Late August: Ticket pickup, beginning of preseason schedule
September 15th: Opening night of 2017-18 season
