Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are thrilled to announce Mack Stewart has committed to play for the University of Calgary Dinos.
“Mack was one of the first acquisitions we made in our rebuild in the fall of 2019, where we’ve got to as an organization today has his fingerprints all over it. He showed up everyday and poured his heart into our organization and community. We are excited for his opportunity with the Dinos and know he will do great things for them!” stated Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.
In a 121 Alberta Junior Hockey games he recorded 42 goals and 43 assists while being named the teams Unsung Hero. “We saw Stewy’s dedication in the last part of the regular season and playoffs when he was playing through a broken jaw, he wears his heart on his sleeve and is the ultimate team player” finished Dube.
The Lloydminster Bobcats would like to congratulate the Stewart family on his commitment to the University of Calgary. Stewart becomes the seventh commitment this season for the Bobcats joining Ethan Aucoin (St. Cloud State), Tegan Skehar (University of Alaska Fairbanks), Kolby Thornton and Hassan Akl (Aurora University), Zack Whittaker (Castleton University) and Zafir Rawji (MRU – Usport). Stewart becomes the Lloydminster Bobcats 13th commitment in the last two seasons.
