Ty-ing on With the Bobcats: Mosimann Commits to Lloydminster

The Lloydminster Bobcats are happy to announce the signing of forward Ty Mosimann (’00) ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Mosimann, a product of Edam, SK, joins the Bobcats after his most successful season at the Midget ‘AAA’ level.

Mosimann spent this past season with the Battlefords Stars of the Saskatchewan Midget ‘AAA’ Hockey League.

The 5’11”, 165lbs winger led the league in assists with 50, while also adding 16 goals in 44 regular season games.

“Just by looking at Ty’s numbers, you can see he’s proven to be fully capable of putting up points and be an offensive threat at every level he has played at so far,” Bobcats Head Coach/GM Travis Clayton said. “We are really excited to have Ty on our squad, and we’re looking forward to helping further develop an already very talented kid.”

Prior to playing with the Stars, Mosimann spent two seasons in Prince Albert, recording 16 goals and 30 assists in 88 regular season games.

“I am super excited to sign with the Lloydminster Bobcats and join a high-end organization that I can continue my development with,” Mossimann said. “I hope to be able to provide some offence for our team, while also playing a solid two-way game.”

The Bobcats will be hosting their Top 40 camp at the Servus Sports Centre beginning on July 6th until the 8th.
