Whittaker Commits to Castleton University

Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats are thrilled to announce Zack Whittaker has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey with Castleton University.

“We acquired Zack at the deadline to add experience and age to our defensive core, his outstanding character was a welcomed addition for the final stretch of the regular season and playoffs,” stated Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube.

Whittaker played in 18 games down the stretch for the Bobcats registering 3 assists. In 59 games in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, he posted 2 goals and 15 assists.

The Lloydminster Bobcats would like to congratulate the Whittaker family on his commitment to the Castleton University. Whittaker becomes the sixth commitment this season for the Bobcats joining Ethan Aucoin (St. Cloud State), Tegan Skehar (University of Alaska Fairbanks), Kolby Thornton and Hassan Akl (Aurora University) and Zafir Rawji (MRU – Usport). Zack becomes the Lloydminster Bobcats 12th commitment in the last two seasons.
