The Lloydminster Bobcats would like to announce a new partnership with Cliff Rose for Clothes who will be recognizing one Bobcat player per month as the ‘Unsung Hero’ who has gone above and beyond for the team with receiving little recognition.
The recipient will be chosen at the end of the month through a team vote, with the recipient receiving $200 from Owner Dave Schneider for Cliff Rose for Clothes. Cliff Rose for Clothes offers high quality men’s wear from casual shirts and jeans to tuxedos and suits.
This month’s winner for the month of November is rookie Forward Zac Giroux, who is pictured here with Owner Dave Schneider. Zac, is originally from Airdre, Alberta and is in his first year with the Bobcats. In the month of November, Giroux suited up for 8 games, recording his first career AJHL goal. Giroux brings a lot of energy to the team and plays a heart and soul type game. He is starting to establish himself as one of the best Bobcat fore checkers. He also sees time on the penalty kill and is a key contributor to its success. Way to go Zac!
